The X100 is a wonderful little camera. I've been pleasantly surprised by the performance in less than ideal light.

This is from the X100S, the lighting was difficult , coming from behind the subject.
it was my first time at the local skate park. next time I will try to get onto the concrete for better angle of light. This was done with manual pre-focus and EV + 1.67

Using the X100S for action photos is not exactly what it is best at - but learning about the capabilities. Also as with most digitals, the LCD in the sun is not ideal to judge exposure - I should probably use histogram etc for better results.
