Post your X100 photos

i like that whole series, steve, but especially the utlity pole shot. do you bracket with EV settings?
note to self: get silverefex ...

No bracketing, but I do set auto dynamic range to make sure the highlights don't blow - the raw files can take a lot of shadow boosting in Lightroom. SilverEfex is awesome!

Steve, thinking about buying silverefex. Is it difficult to use?

bhop I really like both your gallery shots... chin down / chin up on the first one makes a nice contrast.... And in the second pic, the guy at left contains the girls' gaze for some opposite lines again. Even the guy at far right adds by echoing the left guy's profile...

Thanks. I'm loving the x100 for low light situations.

Maggie: really nice use of the "35mm" view and B&W conversion. Silver EFEX Pro?
Edit: followed the flickr link to see the original. Whew. The detail in the original files is quite remarkable.

Got one a couple weeks back. Really like it so far. Takes some time to learn the eccentricities however once you do and have it set up to your liking its simply an amazing camera. Image quality, size, analog-style controls, etc. It's basically 90% of what I've always wanted in a digital camera.

Thanks, Benjamin!

Yep, I used Silver Efex Pro 2, which is still in demo mode and I'm afraid I'm going to have to buy it now. :) Also, if you use the frame option, it pretty much makes the photo match up exactly with the framelines in the X100's OVF.

The files out of the X100 are easily the equal of those coming out of my M8, and have it beat anywhere North of ISO 320.
