Post your X100 photos

First X100T photo (yeah yeah, selfie). Stand back Monochrom!

First X100T Photo by Vince.Lupo, on Flickr

Vince- very nice. Did you happen to have a x100? I do and trying to justify the x100T. It is my only digital, while not "unhappy", as I wait for XProII announcement. Though having a faster start up time from refresh from sleep mode and of course would like a quicker AF and the luxury of the Q button. I value your feed back as a RFFer for 2 + years now… Thank You-Daniel

Thanks Daniel -- No I did not have an X100, though I do have a Leica Monochrom, which I love (despite the recent sensor brouhaha). I had been looking at an X100 as a second camera for that particular 'personal' kit of mine for quite a while now (I use Nikon D4/D800 for my commercial work), and when the X100T came out, I liked what I saw.

So far so good, though I am still getting used to it. The one thing that I'm not especially crazy about is its high-ISO performance, but here again, it's early days with the camera (I've had it for less than a week), so I have yet to fully realize all of its features. Plus I do not particularly like the Fuji RAW converter software. Maybe I'm just too used to the PhotoShop RAW converter, so I may (in time) warm to it.

The one thing that I did make a point of getting was the 50mm (equivalent) conversion lens, and I'm finding it to be quite useful. I'm generally a 35/50 lens shooter, so it seemed like a logical purchase. Plus it's a lot lighter than the Monochrom with a 0.95 Noctilux swinging from your neck!

Thank You Vince for your insight & I also have the 50mmTele Converter for I prefer a 35/50 view as well. I'll keep my eye out for your images and also followed you on Flickr…. Thanks!

What questions do you have regarding the X100/t? I've owned all three generations if you'd like any help making a decision.

Out takes from a magazine assignment shot entirely with the X, straight out of camera jpegs, the only way I shoot it.

Leica M digital...what's that? LOL!

Matt:

Wonderful images. x100t questions:
start up time on the x100 time from sleep mode is very long. x100t?
AF speed, is it noticeably fast? AF Accuracy?
AF accuracy in OVF? meaning on x100 in OVF mode you do not get 100% of what you are viewing.
I like x100 sensor. what is the x100t sensor colors like
any other comments? Thanks in advance
