Hello,
got my V1 just few days ago (and like it). I would like to get a well fitting pouch or case for it that would keep it safe from the elements inside my shoulder bag. There are some nice cases out there, but all of them designed to work only with the 10/2.8 lens (or the zoom which is too large).
So - I am looking for a case or pouch for the V1 with the 18.5 lens mounted that is not more bulky than necessary. Since I did not find much myself I hope you guys can help me out

If I was carrying my V2 w/18.5 lens in a backpack, I would just stick it in an old sock. Usually when I carry it I have it in its own separate small bag.
When I bought the camera it came with this bag:
HUNTER 15 DSLR HOLSTER BAG
Though I've never used it.

Some old film p&s soft cases look to be about the right size.. I'm looking around for something similar in thrift stores.

I just ordered an OP/TECH D-Shortie Soft Pouch. It seems to be just about a perfect fit for the V1 with the 10-30 zoom so may be a little too long for the 18.5. I'm back-packing in Thailand for a month over Xmas and was looking for something to protect the camera in my pack. The D-Shortie looks to fill the bill perfectly.
