I just have been scanning my latest roll shot with my 35RD and I am astonished with these lens quality...

I had to come here and share some photos 🙂 (hope you dont mind)

My canonet and her friends are going to have a lot of rest from now on 😀

Like zuikologist, I really like that last shot.
The composition is spot on, but I find it intriguing; I want to know more.
Great stuff!

Thanks!

Yes, I also like the last one best... on the first one I was shooting slow, so I shaked a bit, but I posted anyway because of the bokeh 🙂 I found it beautiful 🙂

I like the first.....the guy reminds me of Brezhnev and the pic tells a story like "I took Masha to the "Worker's Café" and allowed her to use my new camera , I haven't told her that I signed up for a new car which will be due in 1991!"

What? you come here and dare to share photos from the 35 RD??
The nerve!

(just kidding) we need more like you... 🙂

The first one is very lovely, if I move back about 0.5 meter, I almost feel that I'm in the cafe.

Canonet?? ... (sigh!)

Thanks and I am glad you liked it 🙂
She's a friend of mine, and we were on a really old, cool and genuine cafe here in Porto. It's called Cafe Avis 🙂

Regards

It is a closely-guarded secret that the Oly RD has an ever-so-slightly better lens than the Oly RC. But the camera is a tiny bit larger, and it often needs a shutter rebuild. It is one of the few fine vintage fixed-lens rangefinder cameras I was willing to pay to have completely restored by a professional. Well worth it. Well done, by the way.
