Just got this pair iii mod F and Elmar nickel 5cm/3.5 of 1934

This is a very interesting thread started by Johan and many great contributors like Erik, Rick to name a few.
This is a good place for me to learn more......

The camera looks like it was sandblasted. Is he doing well? The lens looks good. Can you put a film in the camera? Pre-war Leicas do not always accept a modern cassette.

Hi Erik,

Seems been sandblasted, the first film I put in smoothly but after a few click it seems not winding but then can wind but not stop at its frame, maybe past 4-5 frame then the mechanic kick in. Sending the film for process but the lab close till Jan

This is great Erik! Love the walking/pedestrian motifs (wall murals/ceiling signage) in relation the foreground/background subjects. Nice capture!

Raid, it is the Rijksmuseum with many paintings by Rembrandt and Vermeer. Around Christmas and New Year there is an artificial ice skating rink.

Raid, this year there is a skating rink, but skating is forbidden because of the omikron virus.They just hang out or go boxing.
