David,

that appears to be a great project. I like the shots I see, like them a lot!

Are you publishing a book, or will they be in an exhibition? Or both?

EDIT: 7,000th post! :D

And, mr. or ms. Mod, can we pls have this thread as a sticky? It's the second-best posted AND read thread in the forum...:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

Thanks Johan and congrats on your 7,000th post!!

No plans for these projects right now other than I want to keep adding to them and getting better I what I do..it's given me a lot of inspiration living in a new city for the last few years...the light in Melbourne is just beautiful...and the Elmar with the Leica has been a great combination for me!

Riva motor yachts on Lake Iseo

These were taken in Italy last week with a Leica iiia and an uncoated 3.5cm Elmar. Lake Iseo is where the wrap artist Christo is planning his first project for a decade: 4.5km of golden, fabric-covered walkways linking the islands you see in the pictures. He is almost exactly the same age as my camera.

Thanks Erik, the 50mm Elmar can be a wonderful lens! Looking forward to seeing some more of your pics in this thread soon...

You make Melbourne shine Dave, they should hire you for their brochure or put your work up in their offices, printed big :)

Thanks again for your kind words Johan! Still plenty of work to do on all these projects... And I'm having lots of fun!!!
