Predictions: backalley+M3=?

It wasn't too long ago that Joe had just 3 Canon P's for his collection of Canon lenses. A short while ago a Zeiss came into his life but he sent it for exchange due to a RF alignment issue. Today is the day he'll likely get his Leica M3. What do you think will happen? Matter/antimatter annihilation? An epiphany? Love at first fondle? Will he like the rounded ends?

With no 35mm frame lines, I don't know.

If he starts posting lots of shots taken with the Canon 50/1.2 we know he is hooked.

Don't think so...Joe has said that he formerly owned an M3, so it can't be LAFF (love at first fondle). Besides, Joe is a user, not a fondler.

Given his love of 35's, maybe he will trade the M3 for an M2.

the m3 is here, sitting in front of me with canon 50/1.2 mounted, mini soft release attached and that f'n gorgeous luigi black strap hooked into the budda's ears and of course, the mgrip!

it's in very nice shape, just a bit of vulcanite missing by the attachment lug.
i'm actually kinda glad about that as i now have a legit excuse to get a red covering for it.

i introduced the p, both of them to the m and there were no sparks. seemed friendly enough. i hope to make room for them all.

i need to take a digipic of this outfit as it looks hot!

it was an m4-p i had before and i doubt i'd trade the m3 for an m2 but an m2 is not out of the question.

Considering he still has two P's and the Ikon, I think he'll keep the M3. I love 35s the most, but I still have my other M3. Fits nicely with my M4-P and the new P.

I must admit, that color is very cool. I have it on a Zorki. Don't know if I'd want it on an M, though.

If you decide to go boring ol' black, Aki also has a very nice match for the M3's original vulcanite, and its only about $19. I re-covered the beater M3 in that skin and it turned out nice, and was very simple to cover.
