Not everyone has a beautiful portfolio but I'm sure many of you have piles and piles of prints sitting around. What do you do with all of it? Books? Boxes? Or just scan them digitally?

I have a revolving collection of stuff that goes into matted, framed images on the walls. And they go into various 8x10 and 11x14 boxes, but otherwise I just reprint.

I have empty BW Ilford/AGFA boxes filled with 8x10 RC prints and labeled by subject, such as "Street", "weddings", "Models" etc. Also, clear plastic tubs (with sliding trays) with 8.5x11 manila envelopes, also labeled. For larger prints, RC and fiber, I use larger plastic tubs. since I don't have time to properly check them, I find out their condition over time when I'm looking for a print. On occasion, I have also kept 16x20 fiber prints in between acid-free mattes and stored vertically inside an empty Ilford/AGFA 16x20 BW paper container. I make sure the cardboard insert is behind the mattes, as cardboard has ruined a few unprotected prints.
Close but slightly off subject, I only recently learned that any framed photograph should not be pressed directly against the glass, but be seperated by a matte. Reason is that moisture over time can cause the print to adhere to the glass. A framer friend of mine warned me of this.
