I use a whack of 11x14" Ilford RC paper to print on, but there are a lot of compositions I want to keep at 3:2.

Wondering if anyone else prints, for instance, an 8x12 image on 11x14 paper. Will this look wrong mounted if I just keep the large border? I can always crop down to 8x12 if I have to but I'd rather not buy all new frames.

I tend to print 12 by 8s on 16 by 12 paper (cut down from 19 by 13) I like wide borders and framing at 16 by 12 is easy. i do my own, but they're a cheap Ikea size I believe.

I've also just started printing quite a number of pictures at 10.5 by 7 (or thereabouts) on 13 by 9.5 inch paper for a portfolio of current pictures. The idea is to finish up with a box for the year as an archive.

I print to whatever ratio I like for the image, and flush cut the window mattes.

Usually framing another size up. Ie. 8x12 in 16x20 mattes and frames.
