I know some here have been using the 4/3s system for a while (Fred?) - what is your experience with larger prints?

How much are you really giving up when compared to a "regular" FF or 1.6 crop SLR or film? I never really noticed a great difference between a 5D, 1DMkII or even 20D. I have printed all at 12x18 inches with acceptable quality (Inkjet).

How big is pushing a good shot - and is print quality a reason 4/3s has really taken off in the mainstream?

I've been making excellent prints from the G1 files at sizes up to 18x24 inches using a Canon iPF6100. I can't see much difference in print quality between my G1 and M8 prints. I do most of my printing from LR 2.2.

the 4/3 sensor is more nearly the same aspect ratio as popular print sizes (apart from 6x4) so there is not as great an advantage to the size of an aps-c sensor after the image is cropped to fit the paper. 🙄
