Currently selling for $2000 Cdn. Could it be the last camera an almost 60 year old guy will need?
(I'm only $1980 short.)

If you like 50mm equivalent for, probably.
I'll know in a couple of weeks.

Eh, at this point 'digital obsolescence' is just a marketing ploy. By the time one's XPro 2 wears out, one can have saved up to buy its great-great-grandson.....Until your 61st birthday, at the current rate of digital obsolescence!

Can you tell us where this deal is available?
I have checked the usual suspects and have not seen it posted.

I'll be 61 on Sunday. Does that make it already obsolete for me before it hits the shelves?

Since I am nearly 67 I'm forced to stay with my X-Pro1, adapted Zuikos, some OM bodies and 4x5.

I used my X camera for the first time this year last weekend.
After wishing for the features of the Xpro2 for 2 years,... I'm Really set into using film (6x6 frames in particular).
Maybe by the time fall rolls around the price will be $1500 for the package

That's in USD. Canadian places show that combination for $2,399.

That's the setup I'd like Frank. Recently got another RD1 that needs more use and I've got the new Fuji X70 arriving in the next couple of days. Hopefully they'll keep me busy for a little while giving the Xpro2 time to drop in price.

I really liked my X-Pro1 but sold off all the equipment for a Nikon Df and lenses, cameras similar in concept if not in execution. The X-Pro2 now tries to tempt me, but I'm 80 and resistant to temptation.
