This is odd question, but maybe some of you camera guys might have experience here.
We have some little, expletive deleted, vandals that are damaging mailboxes around here. Mine has been damaged twice in a month and I just replaced it today. Neighbors are having problems too.
I thought I'd set up a game camera to capture the @#$%^ in the act, then give the sheriffs department the photos.
I don't want the #$%^& alerted to the camera by flash, so I found that some game cameras have infrared flash. What I'd like to know is if the info I've been reading is correct. Does infrared flash not put out light in the visible spectrum, so that humans won't be aware their photos are being taken?
