Last month I took my OM-1 with Sigma 24mm f2.8 Macro to Sierra Nevada for field trip. Used three rolls of Fujifilm color negative 24/400. At last roll I changed to OM 35mm f2.8. Now I get my negatives with scanned CD and I am shocking for the result:

Both of images appears blur on center to left side of picture. I suspect there have something on lens that caused blur. Since right side of frame appears focus is right, only I can assume are:
1. axis of glasses are off, and
2. glasses contamination.
First is possible because there has crack on focus ring, but OM 35mm lens too? Not sure
Second also possible too after I checked 24mm lens again by flashlight, some surface mark/haze on outside and inside of glasses. OM 35mm lens looks like it has haze too, however, can haze create partial blur? I am not know.
Do there have any explanation for this partial blurry? All of my frames have it.

Alphonse, If they were all scanned on the same machine, the most likely source is the scanner. Check the negatives.
If the same problem occurs on the negatives, check if something is wrong with the pressure plate of the camera. Maybe test with another body ? Good luck !

My negatives are scanned in local lab.
Pressure plate? I remember now I switched camera back door from original to newer OM-4 back door after I bought Recordata Back 4.

Can this different length of pressure plate make affect on negative?

Again, check the negatives. Your local lab scanner could have a problem.
Interesting that you swapped the back-door - unlikely a coincidence. Put the old door back on and test ?

I swapped back door because my OM-1 is early non-MD version with non film remainder on back door. OM-4 has film remainder on back door.
Here's negatives (last roll) I scanned on my Epson V500

Although it does not looks sharp as local lab scanner but the blur is very significant.
Edit:
I swapped back door to original one and will load unfinished roll on OM-1 to test. It will take time to get result.

As both lenses and camera body produce the same effect, it could be the lab that scanned your negs. Has your camera ever taken a hard hit to the lens flange or front of camera? Are the screws tight holding it on? I know it sounds silly, but check. Compare the backs, mainly the pressure plate and see that its even, the tabs holding it are not bent or pressed out of shape.

I did much the same as you and put a door from an OM2 on my OM1. This is what causes the trouble - it doesn't fit properly. The pressure plates are in a slightly different place. If your OM1 has 4 tiny screws in each of the four corners of the film gate, then one edge of the OM2/4 pressure plate will hit the top of two of those screws and not sit flat in the film plane. To check, take the lens off, set the shutter speed to B and inspect how the plate sits.

You're right, I see OM-4's long pressure plates will hit screws on spool side, no problem on cassette side. So my frames are affect by uneven pressure plate and film is not flatten during shoot.
Also I checked my OM-4 that no screws on spool side.
It looks like do not swapping back door without checking pressure plate's size on early and later OM bodies...

yes, you'll need to use your original back with smaller pressure plate or remove offending silver screws in camera body and plug holes with appropriate size set screws (glued in place). John
