I have a "new to me" M7. I am experiencing difficulty with the ISO setting on the back of the camera.

For some reason, the dial used to set the ISO is limited in it's movement allowing the DX setting to range from -1 to +1. When I push on the release button and try to spin this dial to one of the manual ISO settings, movement stops within this range.

I have not had this camera long, but it seems to me that I have been able to move this dial to one of the manual settings previously.

Has anyone run across this situation with the M7? Is there some combination Have I put this camera in that would limit the range this dial can be turned to?

Thanks for your help on this.

I think you are moving exposure compensation. You don't need to push the button to change the ISO - just rotate the inner face around. The outer dial is exposure comp.

Thanks so MUCH

Thanks so MUCH

My propensity for stupid questions absolutely astounds me sometimes.

Thank you for taking the time to point this out.

Life would be a lot tougher without RFF....

Haha. No problem. One would think it should be harder to change the ISO and the lock should be there, and easier for the exp comp, but it's not the case on the M7. To be honest, I've never used the exp comp and probably never will.
