Hi guys,
the knob which adjusts the column height of my Leitz V35 is broken and I need to modify the height because of the easel. Do you know any solution/alternative to repair/adjust the column height knowing that the crank is broken ?
hope you can help, it really frustrates me to have to crop all my pictures when printing :/

You can adjust the focus by turning the collar around the lens. It has a click stop for autofocus but it also moves to the left and right. This may be a way to adjust focus for an easel that's not the proper height for the set autofocus.

Try to put the back baseboard of the V35 over the edge of a table or desk and adjust the bolt manually from underneath. Mind the weight of the enlarger though so it doesn't fall over and clock you in the head. Hard to explain, and I can't do this to my V35 over right now, but when you see the bottom of the column base, all will be clear. You may need to remove the column and base plate from the baseboard but can't recall for sure.
