The Develop panel does not bring up the "basic" tools for adjusting blacks, exposure, contrast, etc. It also does not bring up the sharpening or noise panels. This was also a problem with LR5.4, the version I initially installed on my Mac Pro notebook. Any help in getting these back would be greatly appreciated.

In LR, you can make the individual sidebar panels visible or invisible by control clicking in the relevant sidebar and checking/unchecking them in the contextual menu that appears.

Not all of the options show up in the sidebar....

I do see things to click on in the right sidebar, but tone (with exposure, black level, contrast, clarity, saturation etc) does not appear, nor does the box with sharpening.:bang: Very strange. I also have LR3 on my Macbook pro and everything works fine with that version.

As I said, control-click in the sidebar (below any of the currently displayed control panels) and you'll get a menu which allows you to hide or show the various individual panels:

This is the same in LR3 as it was in LR1 and is currently in LR5.5.
