Hi,

I just bought one new unit and it is driving me crazy. Using all three software, the scanner tends to stop scanning randomly halfway and leaves the software unable to finish the scan. Rebooting takes forever as it keeps demanding for a re-calibration each time. I am running Windows 10 and I wonder if the OS is indeed the problem? I could not tell for sure because Vuescan and Silver fast that I downloaded were Windows 10 compatible. Do you have any idea?:bang::bang::bang::bang:

Thanks!!

Could be an OS/Driver/Firmware issue. (Don't know for sure, just guessing.) I had a problem when Mac OS upgraded to latest version and drivers hadn't caught up yet. They may have a driver upgrade available. She'll be able to tell you for sure.

I had problems with a PF 120 Pro and she was able to help me quickly and painlessly. Had one conversation, packed the bad scanner up and had a brand new one in my hands within 10 days. They will need to know operating system, software, etc. and, if I remember correctly, the scanner serial number.

Hope this helps

Andrew

Thank you for your advice.

I did something today. I borrow my mother's old IBM laptop with Windows XP still installed and CyberView works magic.

I sent Wendy an email also. Ideally I would like the software to work with my Windows 10. I hope she can find a way. Moreover, I hope the new driver improves scanning time. It's been painfully slow scanning through 645 negatives.
