I recently purchased a Kiev 4a from Oleg and the three rolls I've put through have consistently given me frame spacing and light leak problems.
The frame spacing issue happens throughout the roll varying between a 4mm gap to a 1mm overlap into each other. The light leaks happen at the bottom of the camera, I found a post on photo.net leading me to believe it could be a leak in the film advance sprockets. I also get these dark bars on the top of the frame, those I can't figure out whats causing it.
We've been emailing each other back and fourth but I haven't heard from him in a few days. I think I might have to send it back to him to get these issues hammered out. It costs me $33USD to have the camera shipped out to me, does anybody know what the costs are to have it shipped to him and back? Would it be $33 each way or round trip?

It's 33$ one way. At least it was for my CLA'd FED and Zorki... which incidentally still haven't arrived 4 weeks after paying for them

Oleg will fix these things and send the camera back at his cost. That's my experience with a Kiev 3a that he CLA's.
