FYI, fuji just announced a new version of silkypix with the film simulation support: http://www.fujifilm.eu/uk/news/article/news/fujifilm-announce-a-new-free-raw-file-converter-with-film-simulation-support-for-x-series-cameras/
No compatibility for the X-Pro 1 from launch, sad... Guess it will give me time to wrap my head around Silkypix.

Thanks for this I didn't hear about this here in the US yet. To add
the Olympus colors with raw is hard to beat, I have a E-P3 and a
Fuji X-E1 between the two I think the Fuji is a little washed out
sometimes the Olympus has more pop I guess with a little fixing
you can get there but needs a little work. Oh I'm not a fan of
Silkypix but it is what it is.

Clumsy at best. So few compatible cameras with none of the older models compatible.
Like putting a new door on a house while the plumbing is out of order

Yep not for the X-E1 cameras, that's a little annoying no sense keeping the
Fuji X-E1 I have it on ebay I might leave it there, I'll see.

Honestly, I find the latest ACR just fine. Though I'm playing with alternatives. Might just go for Iridient Developer.

The most recent release of ACR works well... especially if one starts with any of the Fujifilm Camera Profiles in the Development Module. I never use the Adobe Standard Camera Profile.
The older the version of ACR, the more issues one notices with XTrans raw.

Finally at home...
You should try "Photo Ninja". It's really good with Fuji RAW files!
