Pulling HP5+

I just saw the thread on pushing HP5+ and it got me thinking about pulling HP5. Do any of you have experience/examples of HP5+ at 320, 250, 200, 160???

Thanks,

Bob

ps...do you have a favorite developer for pulling?

I've used HP5 @ ISO 50 in Microdol-X 1:1 in extreme contrast situations with success (nothing scanned, sorry). I had a month long shoot in a grain elevator, nothing but bare wood and bare incandescent bulb illumination in much of the place. This combo was great.

I don't remember where I read about Microdol-X as being a preferred one for pulling, (Latest Ansel Adams guide perhaps??) maybe someone else will pull that out of their head, but it worked quite well. I guessed twice and hit it right on (first a stab in the dark and an educated guess).

I bought some Tanol and the leaflet that came with it recommended ISO200 for HP5. I was quite pleased with the results at ISO200. Here's one...

In general I can get results as good as that from Prescysol EF at 400 though, so I've stopped using Tanol now because I prefer a higher speed generally.
