Purgatory, for chairs.
So the M9 is back after almost a month (sensor replacement - coating peeling issue), and was ready for it's first assignment: Purgatory, for chairs. (OM-D was backup and used for some shots.)

In Buddy Lagdameo's workshop, wood is stored, aged, and transformed. A massive single block may be something else when you return months later.
Despite the amount of work being done, it is remarkably quiet, aside from the cacophonic karaoke singing from across the street. To this tone-deaf serenade, a hundred chairs hang in the ceiling, waiting to be restored.
There is no order or timeline to this rejuvenation. Which one gets picked for restoration is entirely random and arbitrary, and there is no schedule for when it is supposed to be completed. Salvation for furniture happens on its own time and pace.

Johann, an excellent set of documentary style photos.
Nice that you pair the OM-D with the M9.

Nice that you pair the OM-D with the M9.
I think it's a good pair - the OM-D gets a different focal length from the M9, the "secondary" and not the "main" FL. For example, if the 35 goes on the M9, then either a 28 or a 50 goes on the OM-D.
The OM-D I leave on AF+AE, so that it's an easy grab-and-shoot camera. It makes switching between the two easier.
