It's been years since I've shot slide, so this is a whole new world to me again. I shot a good amount of E200 last week, rating about half of the rolls of E200 at 800iso.

The results were fairly good in terms of color, contrast, and grain, however they were consistently 1/2 to 1 stop underexposed. The lab processed them pushing +2. If I need to expose at 800 again, should I have the lab push +3 to get some more accurate highlights? I'm new to this film stock, just wondering what has worked for others.

A push3 from the lab can help a bit more, but being slide film, you should get some faster slide film instead for the few times it's really necessary... Slide film is a contrasty material in nature, and even if the light is soft a p3 starts degrading tonal range, and blacks can get strange...

Since Kodak P1600 died, we have no real fast slide film... Provia400X is the only option, I guess...

Cheers,

Juan

E200 is my favorite film.
Pushing it to EI800 (developed +3) doesn't bring that good of a result.
I usually shot it at EI640 and +2 push develop.
