Here is the little I know: it is/was made in Italy. I understand from other photogs it is no longer being made, but the 100 and 400 are still available from stocks in the USA and Europe. It is C-41 process. An RFF member here - Chubasco - knows how to contact a Ferrania/USA seller. Chubasco (Bill) gave me several rolls of the 100 and 400. It is gone now. My only gripe with the Ferrania is that with certain reds, it "neonizes" them. I think it has a wonderful "look" when slightly muted, especially the 100. I have seen Ferrania for sale on ebay ...

Didn't know that, Eddie. I highly recommend it for general stuff. Memories 200 is wonderful, too (made on Konica's old film equipment). It is available from dollar-type stores west of the Mississippi. Chubasco gave me a roll of that. Good stuff, especially for people. Cheap, too.

Cheap is always nice
I just got another fed ( a 4 for $49 with an older industar 61to use while i contend with a ridiculous light leak on the fed 5)
i'll shoot some colour this weekend to try it out (i'm so backlogged on b/w processing it'll be faster results)
