Q looks pretty great

It seems like a winner, but I'd have to see for myself. I will not be pre-ordering... and in 2 years, it'll come down enough to be in a decent price range used. Maybe then I'll consider it.

I'd have to agree. The 28mm and the price is really kind of throwing it for me. Otherwise, definitely looks nice.

This bodes well for the next M.
I love the color output, ( feels like a conscious return to the M9) the potential ISO range, who knows?

Amazing, seems it can hardly be faulted at all - a dream camera. I never expected Leica to bring out something that was actually ahead of the Japanese.

Maybe will actually be able to afford one in 5 years time.

My 28mm is pretty much glued to my M6. If I could afford this, I'd buy it in a second. Best I can hope for is in 3 years I can buy one used for less than half the price.

I just can't bring myself to sell my M6 and two lenses to pay for this -- I'd miss slide film too much.

I'm still excited about it though!

Looks like a great camera at a reasonable price .. for a Leica, but bad timing given Sony's announcement .. Of course, different market segment.

I like the fact that if you select digital cropping to 35mm, you get frame lines in the EVF and not a cropped image - and can see "outside the frame."
