QL17 film advance problem

Anyone ever have this problem? My Canon QL17 advance lever keeps advancing, it doesn't stop between frames. Any ideas?

Is the "rewind/release" button stuck in? Other than that, it sounds like you'll have to open it.

JLW: Didn't we have this discussion over on Stephen Gandy's forum? Strike a chord?

The two easy ones are rewind button stuck and back-door-is-open link being stuck. But there is a more complicated issue with an internal clutch that is probably the cause.
