QL17GIII, Luigi´s case alternative?

Luigi doesn´t seem to offer a case for the Canonet QL17GIII so I wondered if anybody could point me towards a similar alternative?

I think Canon made an everready case for the QL17. The bottom half would come close to a nice half case.

I had a thread on this question about two months ago. I did see a nice half case on a web photo. It was posted by someone from Scotland, who is also a RFF member. But I could never track it down

Two types of original case- both had problems. The Ql17L had a hard-shell plastic case that cracked. The later vinyl case usually suffered from dry-rot. Try a Nikon CF-11 case for the Nikon EM, cut a hole in the bottom for a retaining screw.
