Yep, replace the beamsplitter.

You could try Rube the Lube's method. He cuts ND filter material to stick in the VF window.

Thanks for all the tips..I have been messaging with Ruben regarding his method. He has been very kind as to extensively explain the method and assure me the improvement will be dramatic. I am surely going to give it a try..
