QL19 First edition - Battery issue

As cralx2000 already knows (we have exchanged PM's) I am presently working with Kim Coxon to come up with a PX1a battery adapter that will work with the original (larger) QL17 and 19 cameras and use an easily available, cheap SR44 as the power source.
Unlike the Cris model, mine will carry more than 200uA continuous (I would be interested to know whether to go for 750uA or 1mA - does anybody know?), so no battery check issues. It will also be cheaper - target price for RFF members is presently £10 max, plus post.
Kim is testing a prototype right now and the design should be finalised by the end of June. If anyone is interested, please let me know and I will see what I can do on price if there is enough interest.
