I wasn't quite sure how to put this in the heading. My question is a little longer: Does anyone have problems with the small shake caused by the shutter on their M?

While shooting in Paris yesterday I could really feel and see this shake every time I fired the camera. My speed was from 100/250/500 for 90% of my shots. That shake just really had wondering if any shots will come out blurry, then I wondered if this bothered anyone else?

I won't have my developer until tomorrow and my scanner till next week, so I can't do anything about looking today.

Probably won't amount to anything. If I can take a handheld photo with my Pentax 67 at 1/15 and get pretty sharp results, I think you're safe with your M. :)

The shutter is closed by the time you hear it unlike a SLR. It's possible to shoot very low shutter speeds as long as your hand is not moving. I'm sure you will be fine at the speeds you were shooting.

This is a non issue. I handhold 1/8 with a 50mm and 1/4 with a 15mm lens with no real issue on my M6. It's one of the chief reasons i stick with the M over a bessa (and the noise!!)

that's great to hear, thanks.

This batch of photos is the first real big batch of stuff from the M3 so I'll be posting pics next week when the scanner comes in and I'm sure to bring this topic up in the new thread if I find any fuzzy pics.

almost no blur here, with the M8 @ 1/22

I was trying to be as steady as I could, even taking note of my breathing - and after walking up the first level of the Eiffel Tower, that took a lot. I was hoping that the slight jarring was the shutter catching at the end, so, we'll see how I did.
