Here i'm again.
(Sorry for my English)
Last 3 weeks i try to create my web shop with film cameras, lenses and accessories...
And hope, that through several days, after testing, i opened it. now i'm upload last products.
If i public here my shop URL for estimations this is not break forum rules?
beforehand thanked, Oleg

I don't hold any authority over the forums, but I don't see anything wrong with that if you want the people to visit your site and give comments. But I think this thread would be better off in the Members Only -section...

Just my thoughts, this isn't the official stand on the matter.

Thanks for your answer, glad to hear it. Abouut MO section: store specializes only in russian cameras )

Just to make sure that nothing goes wrong, ask a moderator about this. They'll give you proper answers.

Good luck with your business! :)

If you have a web site you would like others to visit why not add a link in your signature. Classified listings/FS adds are not allowed in the public forums. If you would like to list an item for sale please feel free to do so in our classified section.

Thanks for posting and good luck.

Oleg, why don't you inquire about becoming a commercial sponsor for RFF, that way you get to advertise to a group that's quite interested in what you have to sell.

(Oleg cla'ed a Leica IIf for me a while back. Happy with his service.)

Rover, than for advice! now i make signature. But i'm want not promote my site in RFF, but listen to remarks on contents, design of webcite from final clients, professionals in branches.
Frank, now in shop not so many products (60-70), and i think in this moment very early but money in advertisment, but anyway, thanks for advice.
(sorry for my english, hopr you understand me.)

Oleg,
Your English is better than my Russian. If you participate in the forums on former Soviet Union cameras, you can use a tag in your signature that will take us to your website. I visited your last one and am looking forward to seeing your new one. By the way, the Leica IIIc you cleaned for me has been sold to a member of this forum. Seems your work keeps moving on! Thanks!

Richard, and everybody!!!
I'm - Oleg Bashkevich ussr_cameras on ebay, but not Oleg from OKcameras ))))
I do not repair or clean camesas, i'm just sell it on ebay and now in my webshop )
Thanks, Oleg.

Hi Oleg and welcome.
Please check more with an RFF Moderator, about your relationship here.

I'm looking for a lens, and I think it is NOT ok to post that here.
Spasibo, mke

Cool. now I know 2 Olegs! :)
Sorry for my mistake.

Hey Oleg ~ welcome to RFF and thanks for letting us know about your site. I'm no "Web.pro" but it looks really good to me. It's attractive and easy to navigate. That's important for geezers (old men) like me. ;) Looks like you've got some good product there too.

Your English is fine. Hang around a feel free to jump in on any thread. We love talking about the FSU camera gear!

Thanks, Mike, CVBLZ4, and all )))
CVBLZ4, thank you for feedback about shop )
Oleg.

PS, CVBLZ4, Location must be written as Америка, but not Америки )))

Back alley, Yes, yes, yes! exactly feedback! )))
Good site, easy to navigate. Your English is not perfect but it's certainly good enough to understand.

The only thing I couldn't find on your site is information on payment methods accepted - maybe it's not there or maybe I didn't look carefully enough.

Welcome to RFF and good luck with the business!

I agree , A nice easy to navigate site and plenty of pictures so you can judge the items condition, but as wolves3012 says, no indication of payment methods , I was one click away from buying a Zorki 3 :D but couldn't see what payment methods were available and in this day and age it pays to be cautious I'm afraid .

Friends! Thank again for your feedbacks!
Now i try to input "Payment terms condition" to info module.

PS Credit card+PayPal via CCNOW working now (i hope =))
and Western Union (in future accept)
Oleg.

Hi Oleg,

That's a nicely designed site - easy to understand and navigate.

Just one point. The images are slow to load, for example, the images on this page. The images appear to be large files. For example, the image of the Smena 6 is a 129kb file. If you could arrange it so that the the page only contains small thumbnail images of about 15 to 20kb each, and then only loads the large version of the image when the user has asked for it, I think the pages would load quite a bit more quickly.

But that's really quite a small point - it's a nice site and I have bookmarked it.
