Question for the Lens Gurus!

So I got this beautiful 135mm Steinhei lens of the bay and I need to figure out a hood for it. This lens has no filter threads so I guess I need a clamp/clip on type. Or maybe some Series adaptor thingy.
The lens barrel measures 42mm.
My questions:
Are there 42mm clip on hoods ? Is there such a thing as a clip/clamp to some threaded ring adaptor? What should I be looking for?
I could duct tape some thing onto this but I figure there must be a better solution.
There used to be a sticky thread about series filters but I can't seem to track it down.

I had the same challenge with a 180/6.3 Tessar; no internal threads and 42mm barrel. I found an old Linhof clip-on hood that is nicely made and has a filter slot 🙂)) which is a nice plus.

SK Grimes makes an adaptor that slips on the outside of lens barrels. Not sure how much it costs.
