Very interested in the T3 as my everyday camera. Looks superb. However, I have never even picked one up. My questions are about using the viewfinder....
do you use? Is the 85% coverage bothersome?
Thanks

I owned one briefly, thought that the T2 was better for my own purposes. Never had an issue with the viewfinder whatsoever, it's a great little camera.

It's better than the Leica CM viewfinder.

I have never been bothered by the 85%. I find it to be the best compact I have ever owned!

It's my every day camera. Probably 80% of my film is shot by one of my T3. I've started to use the viewfinder less and less and mostly do "hip" shots. Since it indicates the distance on the top LCD it sort of become a waist-level viewfinder. Very convenient to make sure it focuses where you want it to.
I find my framing to be better with my T3 than with my ZI... For some reason I have less surprise elements in my T3 frames than with my ZI.
As a side note, the T3's viewfinder is brighter and clearer than my M2. Almost as good as my ZI (when clean).

Thanks for the replies. Still on the fence about the T3. I still need to get to a shop to check one out...
