Hi all,

I took apart my tele/spot attachement in order to clean it, but while I was doing that, I accidently forgot how to orientate the lens.

Does the more bulging part of the lens go on the bottom or the top?

Thanks.

Michael

Rather than asking "which lens"...

The lens that you look into (with red and green circles): curve up (toward eye)

The lens connecting with meter: curve out (toward meter)

The lenses pointing viewfinder/meter to scene: curve(s) in. I'm not taking mine apart to verify for you, but the two lenses appear to be different curvature. The lense with the greatest curvature appears to be on the bottom (pointing toward the meter rather than the viewfinder).

Thanks Gumby. One more question. One side of the lens is flat, the other has the curves. My attachment, before I took it apart, has the curves outside the casing and the flat part of the lenses inside the casing. Is this correct? (If the flat side is out - it is completely flat, otherwise you will notice the lens curves)

Your'e asking about the lens on the front of the attachment, right? If so... "bulging" part of the lens to the bottom with curve facing inward. On mine, the part of the attachment that faces the scene being measured is flat on the outside.
