quick poll...

2 bodies, 2 lenses.
For the NYC trip, a wide, like a 28 and either a 50 or 75/90 if those are your way of shooting. Maybe a 35/75 or 35/90 combo but in the streets that I often find myself shooting in, I like something a bit wider, even out to 21mm which is one of my favorites.

as of rfn...21/50/90...(14/35/60 in cropspeak)

Yes, they are sewn in, but only along the sides, so they can be pushed this way or that. I could pack the GW690 in the center with plenty of side padding, and still have room for a little camera like the GRD, Retina, Ikonta, or Rollei 35s.

having them sewn in threw me for loop...will take some time for me to adjust to it.

i also think i picked the wrong colours...the leather is patent...too shiny maybe...

you take a keyboard to use on the mini?

Yes. I don't use it often, but the Apple Wireless Keyboard is small and rides in my checked luggage. It's useful when I want to write something more extensive than a short note.

I could leave it home and borrow a USB keyboard when I'm there, but it's hard to gauge whether my friends will have one of those spare sitting around.
