Funny, I just ordered CV 12/5.6 this week, and I was to check whether there's a R-D1+12/5.6 thread here in RFF.com o_O

Very nice shot btw. Are you using normal 12mm viewfinder or have got the 12mm-D one?

Wow, thank you guys so much for the kind words!

The sheep did not lick my camera, they were trying to EAT it, as my son was feeding them just then. It was a grab and run shot, definitely.

Dear "O. Pyykko": I don't use a viewfinder at all with the 12/5.6 and the 15/4.5. The field of view is so wide and I always get very close to the subject so for me it's not an issue. Thanks for you kind comments and hope you enjoy the 12mm as much as I do!

Regards,
Douglas

Another one with the 12/5.6 and the R-D1. Legoland in England, my 4 year old daughter in mid-air!

I like this lens very much too. This was just taken a few hours ago in Taipei..

Taken with Epson R-D1s, 8 secs exposure at f/8.0. ISO 400. Click for a larger picture.

Cheers,

I got it!

I got it!

Fantastic lens, I just wish I'd gotten the black version of it, which I ordered and not the silver one. =/ Oh well, I could try to spray paint it some day. =D

Here's one shot from my first photowalk with it:

I can't wait to use this lens with my M6. :D

What on earth is going on there?!

A really nice pic, though I might have preferred a more traditional framing.

Thanks. It's a sort of "baptizing" for new med students in our university. =P

I agree, a more traditional framing could have possibly been better. I was basically just messing around with my new lens (I got it about three hours before this shot); shooting ultra wide is a bit hard, when you've only had normal and telephoto lenses!

Wow! Fantastic!
I love the light in the last shot.

Thank you very much Kent!

Very nice shot, but what a shame all these back packs and killing green shoe in the front.
This kills the photo.
