I bought a bag of plastic Schneider-to-LTM adapters on eBay, only to find that they weren't for the Robot thread, which I'd expected, but for the enlarger lens thread. So I got out the dremel and hollowed out one of the adapters, and managed to wedge my Robot 38mm f/2.8 scale-focus lens in there. Then I stuck it on an M adapter, attached it to the R-D1, and went out into the yard.
Voila! It works. Infinity focus isn't right on the money--I think the flange is infinitessimally too thick--but at small apertures you can get stuff pretty sharp. I'd love a real Robot-LTM adapter, but the last one that was on German eBay sold for $75.
I was even tempted to create a new frame out of the slightly irregular square border you get with the Robot Star on film, and crop these down to squares & slap the border around them. But that's too dorky even for me.
