R2-R3 glasses at 40mm?

I am considering an R2 or R3. I understand the differences between them generally but have a question for users.

I'm thinking of using the 40mm Nokton. I wear glasses. Will I have a problem seeing the 40mm framelines on the R3?

Does it make sense to get the R2 with the 40mm lens realizing I wear glasses and losing the 35mm framelines would be just about right with glasses?

I wear glasses (progressive trifocals) and when I owned an R3A (M), I used the CV 40mm. No problems and what a combo if you want good results. Go for it.

I went to my shop and I tried a r2a with glasses, no problem. unfortuneately they wont have an r3a for a couple of weeks. I want to see if the r3a view finder is a big deal or not. Also, I wonder if I am better off with one 40mm or a 35mm and a 50mm together.
