R2a / R3a - Leica M Mount?

Just wondering if either of these little camera's take a Leica M Mount lens (without) an adapter. Or is the adapter neccessary?

I would like to know of course because I am saving for a Noctilux f/1.0 but dont have enough to get a $3000 camera body too.

There is no adapter necessary. For the Noctilux it should at least be the R3A because of its larger rf base length. To my mind the R2A is a bit short short for focussing correctly wide open.

I just took a look, according to Erwin it looks like the R3a should focus the Noctilux. Sounds like a tight squeeze to me though.

Where does the R3A's 1:1 viewfinder fit in? 😕

The 40mm f1.4 Nokton is a great lens on the R3A and only one stop slower than the Noctilux f1.

I think the Nokton is slightly less expensive too.
