About $100 more than a gray R2A with the 35/f1.7. Not too bad for a limited edition camera and lens. (Not sure how tax works in the States and whether this price includes it or not)
That is about what I expected. Oh well, I am happy with my R!
BTW, that US price does not include sales tax -- that is charged by individual states. Any of us outside California who ordered from Stephen would not pay tax.
Hmm. Given that the R2A/R3A is $540 now, it looks like you're paying $500 for the 50/2 (and some black or silver paint). That's $160 more than the 50/1.5, a very nice lens.
I do really like the look and idea of the R#M's, especially the black paint one, but I think that I'll be patient and wait for the regular one to come along. Soon, I hope.
