Just received my new Minolta Scan Multi Pro and have been scanning like crazy! I am still experimenting to find out what works best but the following seems ok,
1. Scan as colour positive
2. Invert in PS
3. Desaturate in PS
4. Adjust levels (this very necessary)
If I scan in B/W negative there is nowhere near the dynamic range...
I am now adding +1.5 exposure in the Minolta software to spread out the levels more and it seems to be working.
All shots with R3A and 40mm 1.4 with HP5 @ 400 asa with Microphen
