Im currently using and enjoying my current setup but would like a second lens. I was thinking 90mm or 75mm. I wanted to avoid buying a external viewfinder or an screw mount adaptor. Any idea? Both Voigtlander lenses are screw mount right? If i get the adaptor I will be able to start buying some cheaper russian lenses I guess.

The Konica M-Hexanon 90/2.8 is a superb lens & compact for its focal length. You might be able to find one on the used market for a good price. they were only about $500 when they sold new.

I have the Konica 90mm as well and it is a great lens. They are becoming a little pricey now on the used market. I also have the Voigtlander 75mm lens and it too is a great lens. For the money though, it is hard to beat the Konica.

One of them sold last week on eBay for $404.

You have the 40 right, the 75 is probably the better mate. The CV 75 should do the job very well (it's on my shopping list)

The CV90 is a really sharp lens thats is very well constructed and quite light too. Being f3.5 is not the fastest kid on the block but it should focus very well with the R3A ( it's not on my list, I got one already).

I'll second the Konica 90mm f/2.8 M-Hexanon. Wonderful all-around, and something of a bargain (albeit slightly inflated by way of "that auction site").

I can't fault the CV 90mm. It's a bit tricky to focus at wide apertures on my R2A, so I tend to use it at f8 or f11. I have considered trading it in for the 75mm as I've seen so many good reports about this lens on this forum, but have decided not to as I like the 90mm focal length for portraiture. One day, when I'm rich, I'll buy the 75 but won't get rid of the 90. I'm not in any hurry, I don't want too many lenses as you can only use one at a time!

For some reason, you don't see may recommendations for the 90mm on this forum.

I use the 40mm f1.4 too, and if I wanted a longer lens I would get a 90mm for no better reason than the framelines for 90mm are already there when I'm using the 40mm.

I use the combination CV Nokton 40mm and CV Color Heliar 75mm. Its a great team! I say purchase a CV 75mm it saves your money and you became great results with it!

More picture quality you dont really need!
