R3a with a 35mm lens

Some time around mid to end of January, I'm expecting a 35mm lens for my R3a. Obviously the R3a only has framelines down to 40mm, so the 35mm is wider than this.

I normally use a 50mm on the camera. Is there any good reason (e.g. parallax?) for me to switch to the 40mm framelines when I change to the 35mm lens, or can I just use the whole size of the viewfinder as an estimation of 35mm?

Use the whole viewfinder as a more or less 35mm view.

Switch on whichever framelines that you fancy because it won't make any difference anyway.
