Hi to everyone,

I have a strange "problem" with my r4a (not really a problem.. but worth to investigate anyway).

Looking in the finder, I correctly see the exposure but on the very left side of the finder I see a kind of reflection of the illuminated digit. However, the reflection seems to be one value below the illuminated exposure.

In other words: if in the finder I see 30 (red illuminated) at the very left edge of the finder I can see a 15... weird....

Note that I can see this only if I really push my eye against the finder.

This has no effect on the shutter or on anything but wonder if it's a side effect of the magnification of the finder.

Thanks for any hint.

Stefano.

I noticed that on my R4A as well. I don't know if this is a flaw in th VF or something expected with Bessa's? Also are the shutter speeds in the VF dimly lit on all of these cameras? Quite a change from the strongly lit info. in my SLR VFs.

Hmm, its definitely there on mine, but you have to really push your eye against the finder toward the right and then sort of look to the left. During normal shooting wearing my glasses, I don't see it.

As far as the light, although a little darker than my SLR, mine seems bright enough to me...
