Does anyone know how to adjust the horizontal alignment on this rangefinder? It's a Wirgin Edixa Stereo. There are no obvious adjustment screws and the horizontal alignment is way out. I have cleaned it and now reluctant to put the fiddly top plate back on without getting the adjustments correct. Thanks.

It looks like the mirror on the left can be adjusted in the horizontal and vertical with the screws in the base.
the one with the lacquer on it is probably the horizontal adjustment, the two in front of the mirror probably control the vertical alignment and leveling out of the image.

I just tried those screws, they seem to be in fixed positions relative to the base and when loosened there is only minimal adjustment of the mirror possible (not enough to compensate for the large calibration error). When tightened they seem to hold the mirror in position but not allow for adjustment relative to the base, which is what swivels when the lenses are focused. It's an odd setup, normally there would be some adjustment screws somewhere, perhaps underneath? I'd have to unscrew the film gate to look inside.
