Hi all,
Are there any books or manuals (in-print, out-of-print, or PDF) dedicated to the servicing of rangefinder lenses? Whether it be for specific brands, models, or perhaps as a generalist guide?
I have various Nikkor RF, Contax RF, and LTM lenses which are too far gone, optically, to justify a professional service and I'd like to try servicing them as practice for perhaps one day servicing future lenses which I hope to actually use.
Thanks for your thoughts and leads.

Not a manual, but mikeno62 has many relevant videos on utube: https://www.youtube.com/user/mikeno62/videos. On ebay, nobby sparrow has a booklet dealing with Leitz lenses and accessories. Edit: he did a while ago but I couldn't find it just now.

I think Nobby Sparrow had to (hopefully only briefly) suspend his Ebay page because of shipping issues but it's nice to know he also had repair booklets listed.

[insert pithy phrase here]
Nobby sparrow had specific elmar and summaron repair manuals. I thought I had the summaron copy here somewhere but can't find it. Hope nobby comes back.

richardhaw.com Richard has nice articles on many lenses. He does performance testing as well as repair for each lens in his archive. He has done mostly Nikon SLR lenses, but he has also done some Nikon RF lenses and some non-Nikon lenses.

The secret to success is learning how to encourage a 50-60 year old lens to come apart without damaging anything...

In my past with RF lenses service, all I have to do is to google it. Return comes as instructions (in the past) and often as video (most recent).

They have some nice detailed walk-throughs on their site for a few RF lenses.

Your comment is entirely unhelpful and goes against the spirit of this forum.
For Books- I like Thomas Tomosy for a How to Get Started. Many available on Kindle.
For online Nikon- Richard Haw is a real resource, already given above.
