For the Weekend
Hello all,
I've just picked up a MM, and I noticed something slightly distressing. I was testing the focus on some tile and noticed that when focused, a vertical line in the rangefinder patch would be lined up perfectly at the bottom but be slightly canted to the right at the top of the patch. It took the fairly sharp precise lines of tile grout for it to be noticeable, and it doesn't seem to be affecting the focus, at least not at the f4 or so aperture I was using at the time. Does my camera need to immediately go in the shop?
Thanks!

Unless you are facing the tile head on,that's due to the difference in distance.

Whew, thanks. It's been several years since I've owned a rangefinder, and I don't think I ever encountered it before, so I just wanted to make sure. I was focusing on a tile floor in a restaurant, so that makes sense.
