In a recent post I said that anyone who visits this site regularly should own a Canonet QL-17 GIII. They are great cameras, relatively inexpensive, and there are a lot of them out there.
I would also include the Yashica GSN in the list for the same reasons.

I'm wondering, what other cameras would you guys put on this list?

Vivitar ES & Oly RC.

I don't know if any one camera is a 'must own' and like someone else mentioned, I tend to take fewer pictures when I have too many cameras around. Not sure why.

However, in the spirit of the question, there are three cameras that I owned, loved and eventually gave away to family because I didn't want to sell them.

1) Olympus RD - great camera, but hard to recommend in light of the grease that WILL leak onto the shutter blades. Buy with the knowledge that you will need a CLA sooner rather than later. (Not a do it yourself job on this camera.)

2) Konica Auto S1.6 - faster version of the S2.

3) Konica C35 - surprisingly durable and sharp. Great size for a coat pocket.
