Rangfinder and lens adjustment Argus C3

OK I just got an Argus C3 from eBay and when I opened the box to look at the camera I noticed the lens was filthy so I had to change the lens and clean the camera to remove a lot of dirt. Now I have two questions when putting the lens back on do I turn the focus gear to 3 feet or infinity? And the 2nd question I have is how can I make sure the cameras rangefinder is adjust right? And if I do need to adjust the rangefinder what is the best method to do so? Thanks for your time and help.
