If we're talking about the Ic that is basically a finderless IIIc, then a SCNOO should work, I presume.

1c is older, similar to Standard.

There does exist a IC (that is basically a IF without sync)

If you have the 1c a scnoo would work, if you have a IC you'll likely have better luck finding a SYOOM over the late SCNOO (that fits IIIc)

Just make sure to get the SCNOO that is for the IIIc (or Ic) body.
The SCNOO for the pre-1940s Leicas is too short to fit on your camera.

I use "I" for the Leica Ic/If

Helps me keep it straight upstairs 😉

I put Snapshot Skopar 25 and Zeiss 25mm viewfinder on it and it looks and works great. Rapid winder would be great add-on to speed up shooting..but also expensive one.. 🙂

I would just skip the winder personally,

When I had my SYOOM on both a If and IIIf I found myself winding the camera and not the winder... it actually does not make a noticeable difference in shooting. The added height of the camera sure made it feel better, but a bit of wood would do the same.

So you think it will not add anything on speed?

The gain in speed is minimal if none existent.

Now,

If you have arthritis or are wearing gloves there is a mechanical advantage to the simple motion of the lever.

Also, if you have the disposable money, there's no harm in trying it for yourself! Leica winders are easy to resell if you find the minimal benefits trivial for the money spent.
